Wheel Bearing

Got a problem. I have a bad wheel bearing in the front passenger side. So I look to see what it'll take to replace it and it doesn't look that difficult. However, one of my friends says that on some cars he's seen with those kind of wheel bearings, it takes a 'press' to take the bearing out and to put the new one in.

Had anyone tried this before? The part is like $50 bucks, but I can imagine that if I take it in to have it done, it'll end up costing me 500 bucks.

Any thoughts?

A lot of machine shops (those servicing mechanics - attached to parts stores, etc.) will press out/in the bearing for you for a nominal charge.
