You can remove the sway bar from wheel carrier w/o and special tools correct?
Just unbolt the nut, loosen the sway bar bushings and then you should be able to remove the sway bar drop link from the carrier correct? |
blinkwatt,
That's the way it should come apart. I just replaced my rear drop links and it was a royal pain since the bolt was frozen to the wheel carrier. I had to cut off the drop link and use plenty of heat and pound it out with a 2 lb hammer while a friend turned the other end. It wouldn't even turn at first. The bolt threads were filled with aluminum/corrosion. It probably took several hours total. The fronts are the same way. CJ, 63. |
