Recaro Pole Position

So I want to fit these in my ride;

I need to know what seat rails I will need if any. Do these mount up to the OEM drill points?

Thanks

Pole Positions are bascially identical to GT3 seats as far as mounting is concerned... Brey Krause is your best bet to not only get brackets, but also learn what will and can be used...

You can keep your factory sliders...

So just the Brey Krause brackets are all that is needed? Is redoing the seat belt to mate with the seat easy?

That bracket will work with the OEM sliders... Look up how to install a GT3 seat... the installation will be the same. DO NOT forget to keep the key out while the airbag sensor is disconnected... the installation guides will show you how to re-bolt the seat belt as well... easy install.

Email Todd at epiqautosport and see what kind of prices he can give you.

To be on the safe side, it's best to disconnect the battery when doing any work on or around the airbag. Also, pyrotechnic seat belt tensioners were added, either in '01 or '02 (I forget which). If you have em, you don't want these to accidentally discharge either - aside from scaring the P*ss out of you, it would require replacing the whole unit.

The minor added inconvenience and resetting the Radio Code is well worth the safety margin gained.

Anyone have the gt3 seat instructions?

When you do the seat swap i'd love to see pictures of them installed.

I wouldn't worry about disconnecting the battery... Ive changed seats out in my 01 S at least 4 times with only disconnected the seatbelt switch... basically as you will see in the instructions, there is a switch that connects to the belt connector that activates the airbag... if you insert the key without the switch connected you will get an light... thats all

here are some instructions...

One of the trickiest parts is getting the factory seats off the rails... I found the best method to be to go at the seat from the side by tacking off the side plastic trim pieces...
