where is the fuel filter on a 986
 
can any body tell me where the fuel filter is on a boxster 986. 1999.

Fuel filter
 
The location is foward of the front engine mount in the center tunel
under the protection panel. It's an easy DIY.

Yup, think of it as being on the bottom of the car exactly in the middle - in the middle from front to back and left to right. It's not easy to get to as you'll need the car completely on jack stands and the protection panels removed, but the connections on the filter are easy to pop in and out. I agree that it's a pretty easy DIY job to change it.
