2000 Boxster S Wind Noise
 

I recently purchased a 2000 Boxster S. There is a lot of wind noise with the top down. I noticed on the later models that there was some sort of grill or mesh in the seat head-rests. I am wondering if this assists with the wind-noise reduction and if it is possible to purchase and install after market

I dont think the Mesh inserts and center wind screen will reduce wind NOISE but they do reduse the Amount of wind that flys over your head and hits you in the back of your head.... I can see it doing litle for noise but alot for wind against your head.
