Have you had to replace your gearbox?

They both said that synchros on 2nd are shot. It's still drivable but the recommendation was to have the box replaced. I am the 2nd owner & it has 51,000 miles. My warranty is good until 118,000 miles. I would be fine with it being fixed rather than replaced (as long as it's covered!) The warranty company seems to work pretty well with the specialist, but they really hate my dealership & they get into arguments over prices & hours all the time. I have actually stopped using the dealership completely.
