Resonator on 987S?

Is there one? My 2008 should be here in a month or so and I am thinking ahead. I have found on past cars that the sound improves by simply cutting the resonator out and welding in a straight piece of pipe. Or maybe someone had tried it?

Yeah, I ordered it with the PSE but if there is a resonator inline it "should" sound better if it is removed. No rush as I have to wait until it gets here before I start doing stuff!
