2.5/2.7/3.2 engine mods

Anyone out there working on new cams, head porting, rods, oiling mods ??

Most of the topics seem to be engine swaps/superchargers..blah blah..chips/exhaust...

Just wondering if one of the bigger shops is stepping up to the plate and doing dyno testing/work on the water cooled engines.

Brad,

As used Boxster prices approach $20,000 I suspect we are moving into the Boxster 'track car' years. Hopefully this will drive the market a little.

new cams - some
head porting - extrusion honed?
rods - stock ones don't fail
oiling mods - stock S doesn't overheat

Alienz,

A hyperlink is'nt "exactly" what I was looking for.. I was hoping for some technical info

Ad,

You are correct. With SCCA proposing/bringing back DProd and including the Boxster in it, we will see more race cars very soon. I'm already seeing high mileage 986's going for under 16k here in the SF bay area (we are loaded with Boxsters)
