daytime running lights
I just brought an '07 Cayman back from an Ohio dealership to Ontario this week. The dealership turned on the daytime running lights free of charge (I didn't even ask them to do this), and the change to Kilometers for the digital speedo was done by me through the on-board-computer steering column control stalk.
I have a question that I hope someone can answer. There appears to be no difference in intensity between the daytime running lights (DRL) and the normal low beam lights. On other cars, the DRLs are noticeably lower intensity, not so on my car (bi-xenons). Are they supposed to be the same intensity? |
There is no difference between the intensity of the lights whether I have them on or the DRL. I have the Litronics on my '01S.
The only thing turning the lights on does is illuminate the rear and interior lights. |
I guess I have DRLs after all. They're just manually activated.
Which I activate in the rain (by NC law) and on two-lane roads. |
