Boxter S 2nd Gear Problem
 

I run a gearbox repair buisness, we have now the second boxter S (6 speed manual) that jumps out a 2nd gear. Are there other Boxter S out there with similar problems. I can advise.

Search on Renntech and 6-speedonline,it's not uncommon the 986 S/996 6-spd tranny.

I have a friend who had the same issue on his 04' S,Niello Porsche replaced the tranny under warranty.

As far as I know now,Porsche tries to fix things as opposed to just replacing them now. So they may try to fix it instead of replacing it.

Just wondering,how many miles are on your tranny?
