Front end removal

I own a 97 and i was detailing it the other day and really wanted to repaint the grill inserts in the front bumper as they have faded a lot during the past 7 years. (the florida sun hasn't been too nice) I looked like some armor all would do a nice job but that just going to wear off in a couple of days.

Has any one removed the front bumper themselves? it looks like there may be about 8 screws across the bottom and 4 on top. Of course i haven't removed any yet, and i am sure porsche put some nice surprises inside.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I re-shot mine in the car, just did some creative taping and it looks good.

Stuffed a rag into the holes..

During the year I will periodically touch it up with a black marker [covering nicks by pebbles.]
