$1k was the price reduction from 7k. So to answer you question I paid 5,999.- on it (6k). My opinion... worth it.
Reflashing was also one concern of me. I wasn't too keen on this but in the end I did not have to have it done. Car is running fine. My contact person there is telling me that they are reflashing for more performance though (whilst retaining stock injectors).

I'm just enjoying and learning to drive mine again (given the upgrade).

My rear wheel spacers are 20 mm (RUF). I also have the 15mm. These are not sufficient for fitting Rufs 18" x 10" wheels. Plan to use the 15s and add 3mm to clear the rear struts. With the 20mm at the rear and 7mm at from the car becomes somewhat twitchy (especially in breaking).

Ruf lowering springs are quite nice though.
