EVO Intake Filter

Does anybody know what the K&N part number is for the conical filter in the EVO cold air intake?

Mine is dirty and I know if I clean and oil it, I'll likely foul my new MAF. I figure I'm better off just buying a new one.

as soon as i installed my EVOMS intake, i got a bad MAF reading, so getting a new one wont really do much good since they come pre-oiled, and now that i think about it, thats probably what messed it up, as i recall it having too much oil on there, but i didn't think too much of it at the time...

i suggest you wash it, oil it, let it dry, then blow some compressed air trough it. worked for me when i cleaned mine after putting a new MAF on it.

goodluck

No need to buy a new one. Just do what Dj said and lightly oil it then let it sit overnight with some paper towels stuffed in it. Blowing it out with air wouldn't hurt either. I did this to my BMC filter and it worked like a charm.
