NEWB: How to identify the RMS leak?
I'll start with a formal proclamation that I am a complete newbee. That being said, I'm looking at several 2000 to 2003 Boxters and am not sure where to look for the infamous RMS leak. Does the oil have to be on the ground? So if I look under the car, where should I focus on to try and pinpoint the RMS leak? Anyone have a good picture?

A pre-purchase inspection is the best thing you can possibly do before buying the car. They can more correctly identify the source of any oil leaks the car might have.

If you haven't bought a box yet, don't even consider buying one without an inspection. Pretty much any fault on the car, will cost more than a pre purchase inspection.
