First day at the track was yesterday...it did understeer some at times, but I put it down to me being on the throttle too soon. When I got it right - brake, turn...then throttle...it went right where I wanted with the PSM flashing all the way.

Most of the time you are gonna get your understeer from starting your turn in while still braking... geting on the throttle too early usually leads to what seems like oversteer but it actually you losing rear traction... Move your fronts up to 245 and you will dial most of that understeer out.

timothy,

I just put Gooodyear F1 GS-D3 265/30's on my new rear 10 inch wheels and they look great IMO.

After several PMs with TriGem2k, I ordered the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position in a 225/40/18 and 265/35/18. It's one of the wider 265/35; that seems a good compromise between the two sizes and ensures no rubbing with a 47 offset. Rear tires are already here, fronts are due on monday, but wheels not until wednesday. With luck* I'll have her back in time for the weekend!

*luck means my sacrifices to the RMS gods paid off
