help on how to remove a stripped

brake bleed valve. I have speed bleeders and I have stripped the nut. Does anyone know of a good way to get it off. I have tried to use some vice grips but to no avail.

TIA

I bet it will drill out very easily using an "easy-out" or a similar remover.

Before resorting to this, though, use a lot of penetrating oil and , if time permits, be patient. Failing this, use the extractor.

Hope this helps.

-----------Do NOT use EASY OUT extractors-----------

EXACT same thing happened to me many years ago, Easy Out broke (easy think to on a tiny bleed nipple)! Machine shop couldn't drill broken EO as it's VERY hard metal. Caliper hosed. Lesson learned. Never again will I use EO. Machinsts don't use em either...

Correction: I just noticed you say bolt is stripped not broken. Vice-Grip locking plyer has worked many times for stripped bolts.
