Has anyone with a 987 had a MAF failure with a EVO air intake?

I want to put one but herad , it created problems with the sensors and MAF, also was told by a mechanic, that the problem was with older models where the sensors were not that good and for the 987 was solved.

Anyone?

Will this be less risky?
