MAF with E Accelerator or without ?
I have a 99 Boxster and it is DTC Coding that the MAF is screwed , so I went in search of a new Mass Air Meter and see that I have the option of getting one with E Accelerator or without it.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is and whether one but not the other is needed for my car? Please! |
Yours is without. The difference is a change of the output signal strength as the model years progressed. Later cars have the e-gas version.

As stated above, all 1997-1999 2.5 Boxstirs have a cable operated throttle. There is just one air flow sensor available for a 2.5.
E-gas/e-accelerator started for model year 2000. |
thanks guys ... I appreciate your help.
