Fuel System / Injectors
Hello,
Maybe a stupid question here but... is it safe to use an off the shelf fuel injector cleaner in my 98 boxster? Not sure if there is something special about the fuel system that would prevent me from doing this. Thanks in advance. Tom |
I recommend Jectron if you haven't tried it. I used it on my Boxster and my Dad's 996 and they both idle slightly better now.

I'll largely agree with the grocery store products comment. In my opinion, the best thing you can dump in your fuel is BG Products 44K. Get some from your favorite mechanic and run it through a tank of fuel before you change your oil.

I've used Sea Foam on a 99 and a 00S. It seemed to improve gas mileage and idle quality a bit.
