Bleeding the brakes w/o taking off the wheels.
 

I'm bleeding the brakes on my Boxster tommorow and think I may take a short-cut. My Carrera style wheels have pretty big gaps in between the spokes and I was able to get the tube over the bleeder nipple and fit the allen wrench on the bleeding valve(didn't turn it though as I'm bleeding the brakes tommorow). Does anyone see a problem with me bleeding the brakes and master cyclinder with the wheels on the car?

you may have trouble getting the bleeder valve loose from the inside part of the brake caliper, Theres 2 bleeder valves per caliper.

You really don't want to get brake fluid on paint. Other than that consideration, and the ability to work in there like CJ mentions and/or inspect the pads when you're doing the job, there's no real reason not to do it that way.

Not the best idea. You dont want to risk brake fluid on the wheels, and I highly doubt you'd be able to get to the inner bleeder on the calipers.

I wouldn't do it - Brake Fluid really ruins paint. An Allen Wrench? Since when? S/b a Closed-end, or preferably, a Flare Nut wrench (11mm).

As mentioned, the inner Bleed screws will likely pose some trouble with the wheels on...
