Help w/Harman Kardon DPFMT Wired FM Modulator Install
 

hi all,

i was chatn (email) with the guys at Crutchfield.com about this Wired FM Modulator for my 03' Boxster. They gave me this link

but told me that the two antenna adapters were necessary for the 02' year but were not sure about the 03' year.

So my Question, 1) does anyone know if the 03' (cdr23) need the antenna adapters they describe here and 2) has anyone used this Modulator.

In chatn with them, they said it works "automatic" and has "102 frequency's" to choose from...

you will need the adapters. I used the Scosche modulator they sell and don't like it. The gain is significantly lower than the fm or cd sections. I would be interested in seeing if anybody else has experienced this or if it is just my unit.

i will order them and install it when it arrives... i'll post back as to quality and functionality of this unit... but im sure it will knock-the-socks-off the wirless belkin unit i have
