Doing a 2.5 to 3.4 swap... What companies can reflash my ECU?
 

Hey guys. Im doing the swap from 2.5 - 3.4 and am wondering who can re program my ecu, and how much the price range is? Also, if I have the harness and ecu from the 3.4 car, can I use that? I heard a rumor that if the brain doesnt match the car it wont run... HELP?

Do a thread search. This has been discussed a LOT here. I think you have to get a 3.4 motor ECU to go along with your new motor, wiring harness and headers.

Rich, I got FVD USA to do mine. You can use your existing Boxster ECU if you have a 98 or 99 2.5L Boxster as the ECU is the same as that from a 996. Good luck with your swap!
