installing a new starter diy?

just wondering if it's easy to install a starter into a 986. mine seems like it's going to die soon as it has a loud pitched noise sometimes after i start the engine

Starter trouble

@JohnV - I know you're well-intentioned, but that's copyrighted material. You can PM it to an individual, but shouldn't post it here.

Porsche agressively addresses copyright infringement and has forced at least one Forum to shutdown for ignoring it. Just FYI...

I'd budget a couple hours so you can take your time. I can't see it taking more than an hour.
