The old timer returns for a visit

It’s been a loooooong time since I’ve been on this forum so I thought I’d pop in and say hello.

I still own my 986, but don’t drive it much any longer. Had to remove the convertible top mechanism to re-glue the glass window in the aftermarket top and it was a pain in the a$$ to get back on the car. I finally had to pay a shop hundreds to do it right.

On other matters, it seems I am still the #4 all time high poster on this forum. C’mon people, I should not be that high up the list by now! I guess Facebook has lessened the activity here. I do like the 986 page I’m on there.

Keep on Boxstering, friends.

Hello old friend. Good to hear from you.

Yager checks in from time to time also.

Good to hear from you, I'm still enjoying my 1997 boxster with minimal problems. :):):)

Keep on Boxstering

Glad to hear you still have your 986! The activity here has slowed down considerably over the last few years. I don't post much anymore, but I still check the new posts every few days.

Things are quieter here than say 5 years ago but there are also fewer flame wars and what not. I still find this forum the most helpful with the best user base of any Boxster forum.

I like this place better than the Facebook groups too! One of the problems with the Facebook groups is there's no way for posters to search your their question/issue to see if it's been answered already. Soon I won't be a Boxster owner any longer, but I'll still stop by from time to time to see what's happening.

Randle!

Wow not often I see a member “senior” to myself on here these days.

Which aftermarket top do have ?
