Shipping Internationally?

Has anyone shipped a car to or had a car shipped from a different country? And I'm not talking Canada or Mexico...

The Mistress is for sale and someone from Luxembourg has inquired about buying her and having her shipped overseas. While my spidey sense is now up several notches above normal, I need to check how and get back to him.

So has anyone done this and maybe has a company to recommend? I imagine she gets transported to the east coast, put into a container, and loaded onto the boat. Hopefully there's a company that handles the whole process in 1 simple step for the buyer & seller.

Husker, I've looked into both directions, on two separate occasions. Both times I came to the conclusion it just wasn't worth it.
But start here:

Thanks Maytag.
Just to be clear, the buyer would be handling the cost and the legwork, not me. I plan to get him some links and let him figure it out.
The only time I've ever dealt with shippers was when I bought the 911 cab in MD. It was an eye opening experience that thankfully I haven't had to do again.

Ahh, yes, I misread that the 1st time. in that case, just make sure you've got cash in hand before the car leaves your driveway! :)
