Official 986 forum shooters thread....

Post your range trips or pics or discussions here! Reloading, bench, WWII, BP, or whatever ignites your powder.

Today's trip. Garand (thanks, Canada) and a Smith Corona 03A3. Both vintage WWII.

That's a lovely Garand (8 x bang...Ping!)

I've owned quite a few guns over the years. This Combat Elite is my favorite:

Love that can!

My son is a great shot, and a Navy marksman. I'm a long gun guy.

Oh yeah, Lapua baby! That punches holes in 1/2" steel at 400 yards. Very difficult & expensive to load for. It's fun, but I didn't keep that very long.

ETA... Para Ordinance, straight from Canada!

Where I come from (France), you get to jail if you carry a knife with a blade longer than the width of your hand...
I don't even want to imagine what happens if they catch you with this kind of collection!

It's funny you're in CA. It's the France of the US.

I've got three words for you. Will Not Comply.

Lol. I've never actually tried to kill one, just lobbed a couple grenades over by it to scare it away from my car.
