I have a Craftsman Drop Light. 60 LED's bulbs. It is on a cord reel - perfect to mount on the ceiling next to the garage door opener outlet. It quit working a few months ago. I just got around to opening it up to see what may have failed. I found it had a fuse. However the fuse was good. I looked at the LED Board. 60 of them, all hooked in series. Put the voltmeter to them and quickly found that the second bulb in the series was bad.

Now you know why long time users of Craftsman tools no longer buy from Sears; since they got into financial trouble, their products have turned to crap (along with their service) and their warranties have become worth less than used toilet paper.

I do find myself wanting fewer and fewer Craftsman tools. I have resigned myself to salvaging the cord reel component by splicing in a new drop light. The next one will have replaceable bulbs.
I had a cordless craftsman LED light that one of the kids gave me for Christmas. It had a bright mode and a less bright, energy saver mode.
Darn this always seemed to switch modes on its own right in the middle of working on something. Drove me crazy! Since it was a gift, I kept it way longer than I should have. Finally gave up on it and tossed it one day. No more for me.
