Any Psychiatrists/Psychologists ?

A couple of months back I posted a thread regarding the reconditioning of my oem radio knobs (I mean buttons) . Well, in addition to the self-satisfaction that I've experienced having restored them to like new condition, I continuously find myself needing to touch them . In fact, this act often extends into a prolonged engagement of fondling and caressing . Interestingly, this behavior is not just limited to when I'm driving . Indeed, I often find myself needing to satisfy this temptation at various times of the day and evening . Could this be the sign of what psychiatrists and psychologists often refer to as "a bad nipple stage " ?

knobs

guess it would depend if you are tweaking Rush's or Howie's knobs. Also, do you find yourself twisting them more than pushing on them? And most importantly, I do hope you don't "Knob" while driving.

I find myself both twisting and pushing them . And, from time to time, flicking them as well .

Not uncommon. I've checked countless porn sites and noted many shameless displays of great radio knobs in the bizarre practices section. Very popular.

Do you really want to break the cycle? I think I can help but I must have your full commitment.

How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Only one. But the bulb genuinely must desire change.

As long as it doesn't involve anything radical like Dr. Leo Marvin's "Death Therapy" !

No, my therapy is nothing as drastic as that. But I do need a little more information. How many minutes a day (or hours) are you spending with your radio? I need to know if I am dealing with hyper obsessive compulsive fondle disorder or obsessive impulsive fondle disorder.

Funny you should ask. Things have now reached a point where I am taking the radio to bed with me at night .

That’s what I was afraid of… OK the first thing you must do is buy these radio accessories and install them ASAP!

I'm into flannel sheets this time of year, so I was getting too much static charge from that style. So I switched to something more titillating, I mean comfortable. See it's still happening !!! It won't stop !!

Guess I was not clear... You need to install these accessories on your radio. Keep them on your radio for one week and do not let anyone ride in your car during this period. Can you do this?

Thanks Jager . But, after a couple of days of intense psycho therapy, a cure has finally been realized . Clinicians have fitted my radio with a chastity bra, along with a life-size cut-out of Chaz Bono to be positioned between me and the radio at all times in order to diminish my libido . For the first time since being released from a Burmese prison camp (captured years ago while on assignment), I finally feel free !

I threw up a little bit in my mouth.

It's happening again ! After listening to the radio during a nice drive the other day, I've once again found myself in an unbridled state of knob (I mean button) fondling . It's become so insatiable for me that I've been forced to remove the radio altogether and remand it to a "shelter" . How can I stop this madness ??? Anyone ? :(

southernstar 06-26-2012 10:36 AM

Just re-install the original knobs. The peeling soft-touch finish and sticky texture should be enough to turn anyone off!
