travel advice

so it's time for my bi-annual trip to dallas and thought i'd ask if anyone knows of roads that i should avoid down south because of the floods / waters.

i usually drive through VA, TN, AR and into TX on 81->40->30, but i really hate arkansas so i was thinking of swinging further south and taking 81->40->20 through AL, MS and LA to bypass AR (that's how much i hate the roads in AR!)...

i'll be passing through this weekend.

I-20 through Mississippi is open. You'll see some pretty high water levels when you cross the MS river. I'm not sure the roads in MS and LA are any better than Ark though.
