New Carry.

Not sure how many guys on here are into guns but I just thought I'd post up some pics of my new carry.

It's a Kimber Super Carry Custom 1911 .45 ACP

Hi Hawkeye,

That's a nice-looking gun. I had never heard of Kimber until I read the attached article in my local newspaper earlier this month. It's about the State of NC ALE Department that bought Kimbers for their officers, and their subsequent problems with them. I have no idea if this is a widespread problem, anomaly or what. I hope you don't experience similar problems. Best of luck with it.

Kimber's are awesome guns! Very well made...

I like the color combo too. Now go have fun and don't shoot your eye out..

I've got my eye on a Ultra Crimson Carry II...great stopping power. I work on a military base and can buy one tax free, bad thing is it's still $1,100.

That makes two of us. I've had a permit to carry for about 15 years or so now. This is just my latest and my first Kimber.

A bit pricy, but kimber's are typically well made, often used for competition iirc.
Nice pistol for sure!

I've had my eye on a Sig P250 lately...

I like to carry the Kriss 45ACP Super V . However, it draws a lot of attention when I'm in public places. Especially, convenience stores .

LMAO!! I can only imagine the looks you get!! LOL!!

I just took the Kimber out to the range today and ran about 150 or so rounds threw it! The thing's a sweet gun for sure!
