Liberal Canadians, which comprises a vast majority of the country (and my liberal brother, who's an American living in Victoria) think the Canada Free Press is a biased online rag f a news source in the same way liberal Obama-loving Americans loathe Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.

Conversely, I think this web site and the author are dead on.

May Obamacare die a fast, painful death.

Now having said that, we need SWEEPING change in the heathcare system and some needed regulation. My wife visited an out-of-network emergency clinic because she could not breathe (the day before Christmas) and we just got the bill. $2300 for a breathing treatment and two tests to confirm she had sinusitis and bronchitis. Same things cost a tenth of the price at a pharamacy-based clinic 20 minutes away we didn't know existed. Blue Cross Blue Shield has given us most of the bill to cover because our deductible is $2000 per year.

If we want a model of competitive and cost effective care, we simply need to look at the cosmetic surgery industry. Price is important there, as patients pay for what they buy.

Think about it.]

Unfortunately health care is following the same path as the Housing Boom, then it Busted. We may bust before it does.
