Engine mounts, clutches and windshields are wear items at that mileage. Needing a key can’t be attributed to the car.
I think you need a new mechanic if he’s scared of a tight bolt!
Only you can decide if it is worthwhile to keep.
I have a similar situation with a 2000 BMW. It’s not worth more than a few thousand but a great driving car, nearly as enjoyable for travel as my Boxster. So I’m keeping both until I am unable to drive.
