New Boxster Owner
 

I finally got my first Porsche. I bought a 2000 Boxster S with 68,000 miles on it a month and I am having a blast. I joined this forum to help gain the knowledge needed to own 20 year German machine. My last German car was 73 Super Beetle convertible I owned from 1985-1989. I did almost all the work on it myself but I don't know how much of the work I am going to able to do on my Boxster.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1723549895.jpg

I had a '74 Super Beetle (metallic blue, though not a convertible) back in the late '70s...LOVED that car.

Do your oil changes anyway, then go from there as to what you want to tackle. There's a lot of resources out there on how to do lots of stuff on these cars. My current 'fun car' is an '01 S, with the same wheels you have on yours. Picked it up in 2006 and have loved every minute of it.
