I have decided the paint is good enough. I am going to drive it for a while and maybe revisit the paint later. Now to sort out the electrical gremlins i have recently acquired.

As she sits now, I think redoing the rear end was the best decision i could have made. Now I gotta figure out these electrical gremlins. Replaced ignition switch but when I pull the key it doesn't click turning off the power unless i wiggle the switch from underneath. I guess i have to pull the mechanical portion not just the electrical end.

Well i took the project out for spin on the highway. Was following a Ferrari when a Mercedes pulled long side me and said my rear plate was hanging down. Melted the rear bumper where the plate was, LOL. Going to add a bit of aluminum sheet to cover the hole. Pics coming soon.

Well I forgot to get good pictures of the carnage before cutting it out. I had to relocate my plate (which now has character) but I am happy with the outcome. The open area you see is almost all the stuff that melted away. I also added a small steel plate to move some of the exhaust out instead of up.
