Another new Texas Boxster!
 

Hi y'all!

My new-to-me triple blue 2001 Boxster S arrived yesterday! It has lived most of its life in New England (and was stored in the winters, thankfully), and I'm hoping to add plenty to the 50k miles it currently has.

The PO had already done several of the projects I'd already planned for my 986: red tail lights, Sport Classic wheels, painted center console, colored seat belts, OEM PSE. So my first project is installing the passenger airbag bar so my boys can ride with me!

Given that I live in Houston, the OEM Speedster humps it came with seem like tempting fate. I don't want to get caught in a sudden downpour! I'll be posting them for sale here soon.

This community has been super helpful during the months-long search that lead me to this particular 986. Thanks everyone, and I'll see y'all on the road!

You got a pretty one. Love those wheels. Only had my Arctic silver for a month now but boy what a month it’s been. I find myself paying more attention to the weather forecast now. Get that beauty out as often as you can. Your boys are gonna have fun.
