My name is mike and I bought Brian’s non running Boxster from his family after he passed away.Just wanted to post our neighbor Mark and I got it running yesterday.For those who followed his post and are wondering what was wrong,here it is in nutshell.Replaced fuel relay,4 fuses,fuel press.conrol and car turned over but no start.Traced fuel lines back to after market fuel pump he installed and found it sucked instead of pumped(could hear fuel pump but no duel)clipped wire an check operating correctly,a
Reassembled starts and runs ,luges 1vacuum leak going to change oil put all panels and parts back on and drive.Hope this helps someone else w/ no start boxster

So sorry for your lost, great job on fixing it. I have the same issue, crank no start. changed fuel pump but it didnt work. Ive checked the fuses, fuel relay, CPS, MAF, it has spark, no fuel. i can hear it turn on but when I jump the fuel relay socket, it doesnt run, no fuel. would you or your friend Mike know if theres anything else that could hinder the fuel pump to run? appreciate any suggestions, stay safe and well! -RC
