New to 986 racing

Hi all, just got my first Boxster racecar. The wife and I owned a 99 way back in the mid 2000s. It was just a street car, Guards Red with every option but the phone, 5 speed.

My new to me car is a 99 Spec Boxster. Car came out of So California.
Car needs some body work (front and rear bumper covers are trashed) but chassis is straight and looks to have most of the correct parts. This was bought from Bring a Trailer a few weeks ago. It is the Blue, White and gold #151.
It turns out the car had a 2.7 motor in it when I bought it and seller did not know. We negotiated a discount so I will have to source a 2.5 for the Spec class rules.

I have over 20 years of road race experience with SCCA, NASA and POC. Almost all of that in Spec cars. Pro 7 (1st gen RX7), Spec Miata, 944 Spec and now Spec Boxster. Looking forward to some great racing with the Boxster Boys in So Cal.
See you at the track!http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1585601550.jpg
