I just bought a Boxster 986 last week after roaming these forums for quite some time for tips and guidance when it comes to buying one. So now as I have bought the car I thought I should join in on the converstion.

Hey! I have your twin in Houston Texas! Triple Black early production 1997.

Everything but the sheet metal has been replaced on my car at least once now... I hope the previous owners took good care of your car aside from the very nice upgrades I see in the pictures.

Ironically my car was towed after having for 5 days, so now I am waiting to hear from my local Porsche center what is wrong with the car. Sounded like someone was blending gravel behind the drivers seat by the engine, as well as the servo dying. Crossing all fingers that this will be within acceptable price range.

Sorry to hear that, could be the water pump broke.
