Send a message via AIM to blinkwatt
Well then you came to the right place!!!!!
There is more knowledge on Boxsters here then ANY other forum out there, hands down.

Don't fret over all the "oh no my CEL came on","its idles cruddy" and so on. Alot of problem with Boxsters are cheap and easy fixes....But then there are the others, but lets not focus on those.

Now here is a question for you? What makes you want to consider a Boxster? Why not a Z4,TT,350Z or Sky?

Welcome to the "brotherhood"!

Dave, buy the newest 986 S or 987 you can afford. And get one with some warranty left on it, or a CPO with a 100k mile warranty.

The later model 986's had glass rear windows, which is a real nice thing to have because those back windows crack and with the plastic ones, you have to get out and "chop" it to get it to bend right and not split on you.

What he said.

But don't buy one if you have to be convinced. As Blinkwatt said, there are a lot of good, less expensive, fun choices out there if most of what you want is to look good and attract the opposite sex while having a real car experience.

Porsches in general, and Boxsters in particular, are for people who just can't resist them.

Welcome. Glad to have you aboard!
