California Bay Area - 1998 Boxster newbie

I had been looking for a Boxster for about 2-3 months. I had a meager $10k budget. I used this forum to read up on pitfalls - thanks for the help. Well, after looking at about 15 cars, I finally got my car. It’s a low mileage (60k), same lady owned for last 16 years. Entirely garage stored. It has a new Porsche roof as the old one got a tear. Crucially, it had the tan interior - much preferred (the seats have some minor Cracking). All in all - in pretty pleased, I always wanted a Porsche.

My first project - fix the stereo. I’ll not rush in and start replacing stuff. I’ll work to fix first (on a budget and I like fixing). Guidance welcome.

Next - fix the minor seat cracks.

Will add pictures later, looks like the site doesn’t like pictures from an iPad, weird... do people still use PCs....

Thanks guys & gals

Congrats my fellow Bay Arean. Picked up my Boxster last month. Changed out the stereo. Having way too much fun. Enjoy!
