Another Newbie

Hello everyone! I finally talked my wife into letting me get a Boxster! After searching I found my 2001 S model owned by a Porsche shop forman. The car is spotless and has a new factory clutch, brakes, rear main and the LM IMS upgrade. I love the car and I will be looking here for tips and advise. Currently, I'm wanting to know the best way to raise the car for oil changes. I have been thinking about the MaxJax lift but I would rather not spend over 2 grand to raise the car. Also, I did develop and exhaust rattle on the right bank that I will be searching to solve. I also want any information I can find on the navigation system, cd's for it and or upgrades. If anyone knows of any mods for weak points I want to know about them too.

Are there any other enthusiast on the southern Oregon coast? http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1347137425.jpg

Welcome aboard,
Rattle at the rear could be a catalyst heat sheild, common issue as its a clam-shell type that come loose.
Ref oil changes, drive onto ramps and jack the front end up and onto axle stands to get level. The sump is flat so the more level, the better.

Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks for the replies guys, I thought I must have posted something wrong because nobody responded...I agree with the clam shell heatshield noise. I just got a set of secondary cay bypass pipes from Top Speed and I'll put those on to start. I think the rattle is the second cat heatshield on the right bank but I can't seem to fix it so I'll just eliminate it
