Don't worry about the wheels, just be careful though as the wrong size can damage or increase suspension wear.

I had a older Porsche in college with stock Fuchs wheels on it. Half of my friends would comment "awesome car dude, but gotta change those wheels". The other half would comment how clean and pure it looked with the stock wheels.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and as the prices of these little cars continue to plummet, they loose collectibility and open themselves for wild modifications.
