New Porsche owner

Hi All, I drove home my 01 boxster S with about 40k miles a little while ago. It is white with tan/brown interior and it is manual. I have come to know what a wonderful experience it is to drive a porsche. Lot's of fun. Saw some good information on this forum and decided to join! Looking forward to interacting with everyone!

I live in Olney, MD. Anyone have suggestions as to a good place to get my car serviced other than the dealer in Rockville?

I have heard from a few members that
Ralph's Auto Service Inc
12300 Owings Mills Boulevard, # 3,
Reisterstown, MD 21136
(410) 526-2994

is pretty good and has excellent labor rates.
Good luck.

Welcome aboard !

Congrats on your purchase. Yes you are in the right place to learn and share your experiences from now on and forward. As for service, as soon as you get familiar with your box, there's a shop in McLean Virginia called Intersport Motors.. You can google them. They've been in business for years in the same location, selling servicing mostly European cars.. This is the place where i got my 04S in 2007, they serviced it before i got it...
You can ask for Kiko Cordero (business mgr) or anyone, i'm sure they can give you good attention and good service.
Good luck,
t2

You're not far from IMA Motorsport in Chantilly VA. They're a very good shop. I take my car to GT Performance in Edgewood. I've also heard good things about SSI Perf. In Parkville.
