New Boxster S owner from South Dakota

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I purchased an '01 Boxster S with about 60,000 miles on it. It's dark metallic grey (I'm afraid I don't know Porsche's name for the color) with a black top and black interior. It's currently being serviced by the dealership from which I purchased it and I should take delivery tomorrow afternoon. The car is my first Boxster and my first Porsche. I've only been able to spend a few hours with the car during the test drive but already know it's truly unlike anything else I've driven.

This forum has already provided a wealth of information on the car, and I look forward to being a (hopefully) contributing member of the 986Forum community.

Congrats.

Does it look like the one in my sig? If so, it's called "Seal Grey". (The pic was taken at dusk, so the car's not actually quite that dark.)

Enjoy...

Yep, I think that's the one. If that's your car in your sig, then yours looks just like mine.

It had been so wonderful day for you when You have seen your car at your home. I will also plan to buy new and enjoy the journey with family. I wish that I will afford the money for it as soon as fastest.

I remember the first day I drove mine. Fell in love with her instantly. Enjoy your 986 and take good car of her so that she lasts many years.

PS. All the upgrades I'm doing over time just make the experience so much better.
