New Porsche Boxster Owner from NYC

Hello All,

I am delighted to announce I am a new boxster owner. Recently purchased a CPO Porsche Boxster 2003 with 8K miles on it. Seal Grey.

After weeks of research and comparing the boxster between the s2k and 350z, the test drive won me over. I am a bit nervous about the RMS and IMS issues, but with CPO warranty I feel a little bit better...

I intend to learn alot from you guys and look forward to attending some events! :)

Regards, Dan

Welcome Dan, 2003 with 8 k miles. thats pretty awesome. 1400 miles a year is super low! Wish you all the best.

thanks Ramo,

I was questioning the same thing. I was debating between getting a well driven and maintained porsche vs a low mileage one that just sat idle for years.

The thing that really made me lean towards this was the fact that porsche certified it, maybe its a bit naive of me to make my purchase based on this, but the dealership also mentioned the owner was a collector of porsches so that made sense to me with the 8k on the odo.

I REALLY hope the RMS and IMS wont make me regret this purchase.
