Winterizing your Boxster...

What would you guys do to your Boxster if it's going to sit in the garage for over a month or two or even three?
Battery Tender? (which one)

Rev Al,

I have stored my Boxster for 2 winters so far, soon be #3 in about as many weeks. My car sits from mid October till early April. I have followed about 90% of this stuff, with great success:

Mid October through April is a long time! Also in Chicago, I store mine Dec 1st - April 1st.

Is it better to change the oil before storage or after storage?

I've always done it after storage...

Steve, change the oil before. You want to purge the car's oil of the moisture and contaminants.

Interesting. I've always purged the oil after storage! Sounds like I need to do the opposite and I can't afford to do both.
