I have been messing about with www.986forum.com/development/index.htm . By no means is this the final look. But, should I continue going down this path or not ? I hope to add news and other cool links to the page as well. This is only a start.

I like what you are doing with the dev site, it looks very good. One problem though (at least for me at 800X600) is that the page breaks and I have to scroll sideways. Can you perhaps reduce the width of the side nav table? I think that would help. Fonts in that table could also be a size or two smaller without losing legibility IMO. Anyway, it looks cool Jorge.

Another way to do it would be (I think) with DHTML or XHTML, but I don't know for sure. We use that on the site where I work and no matter how you resize a browser window, it will always adjust itself that way and there is never an issue with having to scroll sideways that way.
