Dont get me wrong. I'm not going to shut it down. I just wont be spending anymore time on making it work. Its no overhead for me to keep the site up. I am just fed up with the lame traffic. My othersite www.hometheaterdiscussion.com is doing great. But this just plain bites the big one.

Red face Well....

I am sorry to hear you say that Jorge. But, my graphics contributions to the forum will cease to be forthcoming if that is your plan. Well, it's been fun. I thought it was doing a bit better latelly, but you seem to think it is totally dead. Not much one can do in that case I guess but to let it die a natural death.

hey Jorge,

I don't think it's dead, thats just the beginnen. many boxster enthusiats don't know about that forum. in germany there are 2 great boxster forums.

the other great idea is to provide a member cars photo space. if some or more ppl contribute, i'm sure many ppl are interested

regards,
frank

Unhappy Traffic stats

Yeah, not much going on as you say.

Still, since the forum is already setup and running, doesn't seem like it requires that much maintenance to keep it going. Or, does it?

Perhaps someone from the Boston Boxster group would volunteer to take over running the forum since they seem to be the most active group here?

I'd love to do it, but I really can't devote the time to it.

Hey, I'll "run" it if that helps. What do I have to do? Send me a PM.

Sure there hasn't been much traffic, but it's been the dead of winter and things will get rolling soon! I can't even think about planning rides when its 12 degrees outside!

I have to think that there are not that many boster owners who do not know about this forum. I think that getting the word out in the local porsche rags is the best way to get started.
Also run an ad on ebay. It does not have to be an auction, or you could auction off the forum header for your car, highest bidder gets there car put on the header for 30 days. It is a way to get the word out.

Post eBay idea

I can't imagine who would pay to have their Boxster's picture in the header. But then what do I know?

I guess it is some free exposure to have your auction item on eBay, but how many Boxster owners are going to find it anyway?
