It had me at vroom...

Hello all. First, I've always been a huge fan of the 356A, and I feel like the 986 is a direct descendant of the original Speedster. I also admit that I was a little hesitant to buy my triple black Boxster S given all the issues talked about on here, but having driven it for a couple of days now, I can honestly say that I've never owned such a well made vehicle as this, and I've owned over two dozen cars in my life. This thing is a tank. There are zero rattles, which is amazing for a 2001 car. And everything works smoothly. It shifts great, accelerates smooth, and sounds even better. Bottom line, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship...

Pictures! Must post pictures!

It's an awesome car. You probably already have the permagrin. It only gets better!

I'm almost 4 years in and the addiction is just getting worse!
I still stop and eyeball her every time I'm in the garage. I still spend money on her for unnecessary things. I still hand wash only and am amazed at how beautiful the 15+ year old paint is.

I'm in love with my car. I think I need help.

We all need help with our addiction. I came home the other night from a business trip and the first thing I did when I got home was look at my car. Then I kissed my wife. Are my prioities wrong?
