Well, that just about covers all the bolt-on parts short of dropping the engine!

I didn't see drilled pedals in there....

Yeah.. had them in the 993. I like the Rennline Dead Pedal. I will probably just stick with that.

Very nice. I have it hooked up to the Kenwood unit and used a Boyo VTL375 Ultra Slim Zinc Metal Black License Plate Camera.

Thanks. I never used them and found it looked much cleaner without them. I purchased a pair of trashed sun visors from Woody (http://986forum.com/forums/boxster-parts-sale-wanted/52469-parting-out-whole-lot-boxsters.html) and gutted them. I cut and filed down the post and then touched up the ends with some black paint. IMHO, it looks very nice. I am packing away the original mirrored and lighted visors just in case. I do like the cleaner look without the visors.

Yeah, glad it didn't sell for several reasons. Sometimes things do work out for the best. I am working on the driving part.

OK... Not the best photos. I just took them in the garage. The device behind the left side of the rear view mirror is the cash camera.

Nice clean look. You don't drive when the sun is low and staring you straight in the face ?

And, what is the cash camera ? Do you mean crash ? What is the make / model and how is it activated......

I also have the Willwood bike rack, thinking of getting it painted to match the car and I'll add some red Porsche decals to make it look OEM.
That rack is on my car year round since I ride one bike or another 7 days a week.

No issues with the sun. I always found the sun visor lacking.

I have BlackVue dash camera in all four of my cars and two of my kids cars. The one in the Boxster is a BlackVue DR400G-HDII and all five others are BlackVue DR500GW. I like them because they are small and give a good picture. They have GPS which gives you a map and speed. Like oil, there are a lot of opinions out there on dash camera brands and models.

All of mine are old (> than a year old). They have several newer models out now including ones that record front and back.

This is a good forum on these; https://forum.dashcamtalk.com/forums/blackvue.6/

Yap. You are up there too. It is a slippery slope indeed.
Can you get the camera to catch the blind spot? Or is it too hard an angle to position the camera?

I am sure if you had a rear facing camera it would record the blind spot. There is no viewer on the camera. It is recorded to a Micro SD card and viewed via computer. There is an app that will allow you to view it live through a smart phone.

This is a link to Dropbox of an AutoCross run I did in the Boxster. It was recorded on the BlackVue DR400G-HDII.

Interesting; how does it work ? Does it come on upon startup, do you reset it between drives ? Curious as to how much attention a unit like this requires....
